This provides a powerful technique for controlling how users see Web Part content. e.g. by setting COR to this property, this limits COR logged in users access to the Web Part. * COR: COR users must be logged in to view the Web Part content. * Jetfire: Jetfire users must be logged in to view the Web Part content. * Both: User must be logged into BOTH COR and (Jetfire or Jazz) to view the Web Part content. * Either: User must be logged into either COR or Jetfire or Jazz, user can view the Web Part content. * None: Login is not required to view the Web Part content. This is the typical case for most users surfing the website. * COR_Deny: Logged in COR users canNOT view the Web Part content. * Jetfire_Deny: Logged in Jetfire users canNOT view the Web Part content. * COR_OR_Jetfire_Deny: if Logged into either COR or Jetfire, users canNOT view the Web Part content. * COR_AND_Jetfire_Deny: if Logged into both COR and Jetfire, users canNOT view the Web Part content. * Jazz: Jazz users must be logged in to view the Web Part content. * Jazz_Deny: Logged in Jazz users canNOT view the Web Part content. * COR_OR_Jazz_Deny: if Logged into either COR or Jazz, users canNOT view the Web Part content. * COR_AND_Jazz_Deny: if Logged into both COR and Jazz, then user canNOT view the Web Part content. * COR_Edit: COR users must be logged in and in Edit mode to view the Web Part. =====Public Viewer===== * Guests are allowed to view this Web Part (option applies if COR login is required. 'LoginType' is set to COR or Both) and Read Permissions permit all Roles to see the Web Part. =====Read Permissions===== * If a Login Type is selected, then Roles may be selected to further identify specific user groups that may read the content. The default is that all Roles are allowed to view the content. * The default is that all Roles are allowed read access to the Web Part. * Note: Read Permissions are not used for Deny options =====Edit Permissions===== If a Login Type is selected, then Roles may be selected to further identify specific user groups that may edit the content. The default is that all Roles are allowed to edit the content. * The default is that all Roles are allowed edit access to the Web Part. * Note: Read Permissions are not used for Deny option =====Devices===== Identifies the type of devices that the web part can be displayed on. This includes: * All Devices - standard and mobile devices * Normal Devices - standard PC's * Mobile Devices - e.g. Smart Phones, PDA's =====Language===== The language of the Web Part. This language is matched against the user's preferred language. 'All languages' is the default. This property allows the designer to set: ** Chrome Type: Title and Border [image|Title and Border|{UP}COR Images/ContentWithTitleBorder.png] ** Chrome Type: Title [image|Title and Border|{UP}COR Images/ContentWithTitle.png] ** Chrome Type: Border [image|Title and Border|{UP}COR Images/ContentWithBorder.png] ** Chrome Type: Default or None displays Plain content [image|Title and Border|{UP}COR Images/ContentPlain.png] * Height of the Web Part: This is used to force the Web Part to be a specific height. * Width of the Web Part: This is used to force the Web Part to be a specific width. <div class="imageright"><img class="image" src="GetFile.aspx?File=COR%20Images%2fLayoutEditor.png" alt="Figure5: Layout Properties"><p class="imagedescription">Figure5: Layout Properties</div> ====Layout Properties==== Layout Properties include: * Zone: the web page may be divided into zones that contain Web Parts. Each Web Part Zone is basically a cell in a table. Web Parts are placed in a zone and in edit mode may be moved between zones. * Zone Index: the order that the web part is placed in a web part zone.
